COPE North 2019 Flight Line BBQ - USO Andersen
Hundreds of U.S. and Allied Forces military service members participating in COPE North 2019 were greeted with the warm “Hafa Adai” spirit by USO Andersen volunteers who served up burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks on the flight line.
Volunteers Shonda Nichols, April Barzanti, Andi Berry, Motown Brantley, Chris Lenane, Duawana Robinson, and Risa Walden led the effort, spending more 7 hours preparing and serving the lunch meal for our flight line personnel.
COPE North is an annual multilateral exercise held at Andersen AFB that brings in forces from throughout the Pacific including the Royal Australian Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
Thank you to all our friends at the 36th Maintenance Group and 36th Maintenance Squadron for helping us make this outreach possible!
