Thanksgiving Pie Parade at U.S. Naval Base Guam
Happy Thanksgiving from the island of Guam, Where America’s Day Begins!
More than 200 deployed Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion THREE and NMCB 133’s Runnin’ Roos celebrated this Thanksgiving holiday with delicious pies for everyone to enjoy! USO Naval Base Guam provided an assortment of pies including pumpkin, apple, pecan, key lime, lemon meringue, chocolate cream and banana cream.
Navy construction battalions have been on Guam since the island’s liberation from Japanese occupation in 1944. USO continues to support rotational Seabee battalions based at historic Camp Covington aboard US Naval Base Guam delivering morale boosting holiday food and entertainment programs when needed thanks to incredible global partners like the NFL.
NFL’s incredible support over the years has also allowed the USO to expand its programs and services and continue to focus on its mission. We are extremely grateful for our partnership with the NFL that allows us to bring football and so much more to our Armed Forces serving and protecting us around the world.
