All in the Family at USO Naval Base Guam

USO Naval Base Guam supported the USS Ohio during a port call at US Naval Base Guam. Staff and volunteers delivered a “USO Programs in a Box” filled with board games, chips, candy, and cookies for more than 150 sailors assigned to the submarine.
USO Guam volunteer Alisha Shadow, former volunteer of the quarter and lead volunteer for Operation Birthday Cake program assisted with the delivery. Shadow’s son, IT2 Nick Sabater, is assigned to the submarine and was able to spend some time with family while deployed from their home port in Washington state.
