Fried Chicken and F-16's!
March 17 - USO Guam Staff and Volunteers supported over 200 Airmen with the 112th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron and 180th Fighter Wing Ohio Air National Guard from Toledo, Ohio.
The group is deployed to Guam for several months and operate around the clock on the flight line at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. USO provided two (day shift and night shift) morale boosting meals of fried chicken, red rice, coleslaw, and cold drinks for everyone. After the meals, USO staff and volunteers had the opportunity to tour the F-16 Fighting Falcons.
Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for making this event possible! Special thanks to SSgt Michael Conant for the initial outreach and setup of the event, and to CMSgt James Duty for all of the support on the flight line.
