USO Guam Supports Airmen and Soldiers Working on Northwest Field
The USO Guam in partnership with the Andersen Air Force Base Chapel provided a special lunch for soldiers and airmen working at Northwest Field. Meal options are limited as Northwest Field is an isolated location and currently being developed to house a new Marine Corps Base by 2022.
Due to the isolation and harsh working conditions, the Chaplains at Andersen Air Force Base and USO Guam staff and volunteers came together to serve up grilled hamburgers, chicken breast, and hot dogs to members of USAF 554 Red Horse Squadron and US Army Delta 2 THAAD Units.
