USO NBG Mes CHamoru Mangge Pops and Ice Cream Social
Biba Mes CHamoru! Thank you to more than 30 military kids and 20 parents for joining a special cultural demonstration hosted by Siñot Juan Chaco, retired U.S. Army Warrant Officer and former Chamorro teacher.
Guest enjoyed learning Chamorro phrases, dancing, singing, and coconut leaf weaving at the USO Naval Base Guam center aboard Camp Covington.
Mes CHamoru is the time of year when the Guam community celebrates and reflects on the island’s history, heritage and native culture. The month-long celebration is filled with exciting special events and fun activities that showcase the best of Guam’s food, culture, and Hafa Adai spirit. #BeTheForce
Special thanks to USO Guam Gold Level Sponsor United for supporting military family programs and events.
