Valiant Shield Joint Exercise: Flight Line Support
Last week, USO Staff and volunteers distributed Coca-Cola beverages, water and snacks to over 1,000 participants of Valiant Shield.
From U.S. Pacific Command: 18,000 personnel and more than 180 aircraft from the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, and nine surface ships came together on Guam and around the Marianas Island Range Complex for the U.S.-only, biennial field training exercise. It included a carrier strike group, an expeditionary strike group, a Marine Air-Ground Task Force, and Air Force aggressor and bomber squadrons.
Volunteers Courtney, Tessa, Sharon, Dallas, Art, and Marie along with SrA Levi Graves and Justin Davis visited every group on the flight and and gave our much needed refreshments to pinots, maintainers, and support personnel from all branches participating in the biennial exercise.
Thank you to the 36th Wing, 36th Operations Squadron, and SrA Levi Graves for making this event possible!
