Lumpia Cooking Demonstation
USO staff and volunteers hosted a cooking demonstration for members of the Guam Naval Officers’ Spouses Connection. Programs Manager Ed Lebita showed the group how to make chicken kelaguen and two kinds of lumpia (deep fried egg rolls) - veggie and pork. Mrs. Marilyn Manns shared her special recipe for banana lumpia made with her secret ingredient - jackfruit, and coated in glistening caramelized brown sugar.
Special thanks to our USO volunteers: Ms. Barb, Maricor, Elysia and Yaya for all of your support.
