Gingerbread House Spectacular 2018 - USO Andersen
USO Andersen brought families together for another popular Gingerbread House Spectacular this Christmas season!
More than 30 military families (92 total service members, spouses, and children) participated in the event to decorate their own gingerbread houses, meet other families, and enjoy homemade hot chocolate, gingerbread cookies, and holiday sweesweet treats provided by the USO.
Volunteer of the Quarter Andi Berry baked ALL gingerbread houses from scratch and made homemade icing with the help of fellow volunteers. The smiles on the children’s faces were priceless and the families were so grateful that they gave a standing ovation to Andi and the entire USO team for all the hard work that was put into the event.
