U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam Appreciation Lunch - USO Tumon Bay
USO Tumon Bay put together a Coast Guard Appreciation Lunch to lift the spirits of all our Coasties and their families on Friday, January 25th. Members of U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam have not received a paycheck for almost one month as an effect of the government shut down. However, your USO and community supporters like Kailee’s Smoke and Grill and Wyndam Garden, were able to keep nearly 200 bellies full with a delicious spread that included pizzas, pulled pork, brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, red rice, and a special dessert baked by our very own USO Volunteers. There were nothing but smiles and appreciation in that station that day.
Semper Paratus, Coast Guard! Your USO is always ready and always here for you!
