USO NBG Mes CHamoru Mangge Pops and Ice Cream Social
It’s always ice cream and popsicle weather on Guam! As Mes CHamoru continues, USO Naval Base Guam hosted a social for all military kids that featured popsicles and ice cream treats.
More than 100 guests enjoyed a selection of locally made popsicles from Pacific Island Månnge Popsthat included ripe mango, avocado, calamansi, coconut candy, ube, lychee coconut, calamansi strawberry and mango strawberry! Mes CHamoru is the time of year when the Guam community celebrates and reflects on the island’s history, heritage and native culture. The month-long celebration is filled with exciting special events and fun activities that showcase the best of Guam’s food, culture, and Hafa Adai spirit.
Special thanks to The Guam Daily Post for supporting programs and events that connect service members to family, home, and country. #BeTheForce
