USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) Troop Movement Support
USO Guam staff and volunteers supported 70 sailors who arrived on the island late Friday evening. The sailors from the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) needed a place to stay while awaiting the arrival of the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) - and the USO Guam was there to help by keeping the center open overnight.
Center staff and volunteers greeted the group with a hot meal of chili and corn bread when they arrived at midnight. Each sailor was given a
USO Care Package filled with amenities such as razors, toothbrushes, and more! For many of them this is their first time overseas and their first time on an underway ship.
Prior to their departure, volunteers Kat, Joe, Laura, Michelle, and Ray served up a hearty breakfast that included sausage, eggs, and pancakes.
Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for all of your support!
