Homecoming: USS Emory S. Land (AS-39)
Welcome home USS Emory S Land (AS 39)! The United States Navy submarine tender returned after several months away to its homeport at US Naval Base Guam. USO Guam supported the event along with the ship’s Family Readiness Group, MWR Guam, and Fleet & Family Support Center-Naval Base Guam. Families enjoyed pizza from MWR and USO volunteers Maggie Anderson and Typer Weigel ensured families enjoyed cold drinks while waiting for their loved ones.
